Teams Honored at Cannon House

The Wesley basketball teams enjoy lunch at the Cannon House

DOVER, Del. - In celebration of successful basketball seasons, Dr. and Mrs. Johnston hosted both the men’s and women’s basketball teams for lunch on Thursday, March 11. 

Members of both squads, men’s head coach Jerry Kobasa, women’s head coach James Wearden, and Wolverine supporters George and Bobbi Geier, Harvey Kenton and Bob Rembecki were in attendance. 

The lunch was in celebration of the men’s team making the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive year and winning the most game’s in Wesley’s Division III history – 19.  The women were honored after making the ECAC South Tournament for the second consecutive year to go along with 17 wins.
