Howard Named ACFC Player of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Wesley College junior Dakevis Howard (Wilmington, Del./Concord) was named the Atlantic Central Football Conference Player of the Week after his efforts in a 28-13 win over Lake Erie College.

Howard blocked a field goal and made a pair of special teams tackles in the contest.  The junior defensive back also contributed on defense with three more stops and a pass break up.

No. 3 Wesley will host Ohio Dominican, ranked 20th in the NAIA, on November 14 in the regular season finale for both squads.
