Wesley Earns ECAC South Bid
CAPE COD, Mass. - Wesley College earned its third consecutive trip to the postseason with a bid to the ECAC South Tournament with first round game at Frostburg State on Wednesday, May 13.
The games between the fifth seeded Wolverines (24-16-1) and fourth seeded Bobcats (25-15) will get underway at 3:00 PM.
It is the first time in Wesley's Division III history that the team has advanced to the postseason in three consecutive years.
The winner of the Wesley/Frostburg State matchup will face top seeded Wilkes (29-11) on Friday, May 15 at 9:00 AM in the semifinals of the single elimination tournament.
Wednesday's other quarterfinal match up featured the No. 3 seed Delaware Valley (21-12) hosting Neumann (21-19-1). The winner of that contest will face Penn State Altoona (30-17) on Friday in the second semifinal.
