Morlock Sets Record in Win

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Wesley College's Grant Morlock (Bel Air, Md./Fallston) stroked a school record six hits as the Wolverines pasted Penn State Abington 22-4.

Morlock homered and had five singles in seven at bats for Wesley (3-1), who won their second straight game.  The third baseman scored four times, drove in two more runs and stole a base.

Newcomer Jake Dunn (Hatfield, Pa./North Penn) tossed five shutout innings for his first win.  He struck out three and allowed just two hits.

Rob Benedict (Drexel Hill, Pa./Monsignor Bonner) and Bryan Reshetar (Newark, Del./Hodgson Vo-Tech) had three hits apiece as Wesley rapped 27 hits against four different Nittany Lion pitchers.

The Wolverines scored in seven of the game's nine innings and had multiple runs in five different innings.

Wesley is back in action on March 5 against Ohio Northern.
