YORK, Pa. - Both the Wesley College baseball and softball teams have qualified for the Capital Athletic Conference Playoffs.
The two sports use identical double elimination formats. The top six teams in both sports qualify for the tournament.
The baseball team tied York (Pa.) for second place in the regular season, but the Wolverines will be seeded third after the Spartans took two of three in the series between the two teams. Wesley will host fourth seeded Stevenson at Bob Reed Field at 3:30 PM. The Wolverines won the season series 2-1.
Softball will be seeded sixth and travels to top seeded Salisbury for a 4:00 PM start. Salisbury swept Wesley in the regular season doubleheader between the two squads.
Second-round games in the double-elimination tournaments for all six teams are scheduled for Thursday, followed the weekend championship at the highest remaining seeded team on Saturday and Sunday.
