Musser homers as baseball falls to No. 18 Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – The Wesley College baseball team stumbled on the road to the 18th-ranked Salisbury Sea Gulls, 18-7 on Wednesday.

William Musser launched his second home run of the season with a solo shot to center field in the fourth inning. Musser also scored two runs in the loss.

Musser along with Jordan Marucci, John Joines and William Foster all notched multiple hits for Wesley. Marucci went 3-for-5 while Foster recorded a double and hit a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning.

Wesley will be on the road on Saturday to take on Atlantic East Conference foe Immaculata in a doubleheader. The first game is set for 12 p.m.
