Cheer Tryouts

Wesley Cheerleading will be conducting video pre-tryouts. Your video must be received by July 1st.

In the video you should include the following:
(You must present this portion of the tape live)

• Bio and accomplishments
• Cheerleading tumbling (not required, but highly recommended)
• 4 jumps (toe touch mandatory)
• 1 dance (no less than 4 - 8 counts)
• 1 cheer
• 20 push-ups
• 30 full sit-ups (you can have someone or something hold down you feet)

You are allowed to add previous routines, stunts, and tumbling to the tape, but remember this will have no impact on the judging.

The video must not be longer than 10 minutes.

In your video packet include:

• Proof of acceptance to Wesley College
• Try-out Registration Form. Click for Registration Form

Once the videos are reviewed, you will be notified about your invitation to Wesley Cheer Camp, which will be held August 17, 2009 through August 21, 2009. Team selection will be made the last day of camp.
