Cheer Team Competes at CAC Championships

YORK, Pa. - On February 20, the Wesley College cheer team competed at the CAC Cheerleading Competition at York College of Pennsylvania. 

After all of the team performances, three Wolverines Lauren Dimicco, Marshae Wynn and Nicole Oyola, competed in the Jump-off and Tumble-off competitions.  Oyola won a first place medal for the Jump-off, while Wesley finished fifth as a team. 

"We competed first which the team was delighted to hear, knowing that we'd be able to watch the other teams perform," head coach Akia Jenkins noted.  "While this was the only competition of the year for us, the girls did an amazing job."
