Wesley Still 12th in D3football.com Poll
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Wesley College football team remained No. 12 in the latest D3football.com Top 25 poll.
The Wolverines were idle last weekend.
The top five in the poll remained unchanged from the previous week. Mount Union held onto all 21 of its first place votes and remains No. 1. Wisconsin-Whitewater again received the other four first place votes and is ranked second. Mary Hardin-Baylor, Capital and Muhlenberg complete the top five.
Wesley's Atlantic Central Football Conference (ACFC) and Route 13 Rival Salisbury was the only top 10 team to lose last week and dropped to No. 17.
Delaware Valley, the team that beat the Sea Gulls two weeks after defeating Wesley, jumped into the poll at No. 16.
The D3football.com Top 25 is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, Sports Information Directors and media members from across the country, and is published weekly.
The Wolverines, 1-1 in 2008, will open ACFC play on Saturday, October 4 with a road trip to Frostburg State.
