Lanouette Honored by ECAC

CAPE COD, Mass. - Wesley College's Jon Lanouette was named the ECAC Southwest Offensive Player of the Week after his effort in a 36-21 win over Salisbury in the Route 13 Rivalry.

Lanouette (Wilmington, Del./Newark) earned the award after he caught six passes for 106 yards and a pair of touchdowns as in the win which clinched the Atlantic Central Football Conference Championship for the Wolverines.  His scoring receptions went for 41 and 20 yards as he ran his school record for career receptions to 139.

On Monday, he was named the ACFC Offensive Player of the Week.

The Wolverines improved to 6-1 with the win and ran the table with a 3-0 mark in the ACFC.  Wesley closes the regular season with a pair of non-conference games, beginning with a trip to Division II Lake Erie College on November 8.
