30 Named ACFC All-Academic Team
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Wesley College had 30 student-athletes named to the Atlantic Central Football Conference (ACFC) All-Academic team. The total represents nearly a third of the 92 named to the team conference-wide.
To qualify student-athlete needed to a 3.0. grade point average or higher during the fall semester.
Conference champion Wesley College and runner-up Salisbury University shared the most recipients on the team with 30 each, while Apprentice School had 17 and Frostburg State University had 15 recipients.
Wesley won its fourth straight ACFC title and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Championships.
