2008 (Sophomore): Voted Team Captain for 2009 season...All-ACFC First Team at safety...Academic All-ACFC...Second leading tackler with 70 and eight TFL...Named ACFC player of the week vs. Apprentice had interception, pass defended and six tackles in 48-0 Homecoming win...Wolverines Defensive Player of the Year in 2008.

2007 (Freshman): One kick return for three yards...Made 18 tackles...Season-high four tackles in NCAA first round against Hampden-Sydney...1.5 TFL on the year..Academic All-ACFC.

High School: Played football (Kevin Clancy) and basketball (Steven Lewis)...Football Team won District I Championship...Team MVP in 2006...2nd team-All-Delco and 1st team All-Central League as a defensive back.

Personal:  Born 11/5/88...Son of Roger and Melanie Benson...Both parents attended Penncrest High School in Media, Pa. with Wesley Head Coach Mike Drass...Roger and Coach Drass were teammates on the football team and Melanie starred in track...Brother Roger, played football at Division II West Chester.
