Wesley Opens with Captains

DOVER, Del. - No. 9 Wesley College opens the 2009 season in a clash of nationally ranked squads as No. 20 Christopher Newport visits Scott D. Miller Stadium.

Kickoff is set for 1:00 PM Eastern time on September 5.  The game will mark the first meeting in the history of the two programs.  The Wolverines and Captains were set to open the 2008 season against one another, but the contest was wiped out by Tropical Storm Hanna.
