Complete Poll

MINNEAPOLIS - The Wesley College football remained fifth in the fourth weekly D3football.com Top 25 poll of the 2009 season after a 56-7 win at LaGrange.

The top six teams in the poll remained unchanged, but the Wolverines closed ground on No. 4 Wheaton (Ill.) and now trails the Thunder by just one point, 524-523. 

Mount Union again received 23 of the 25 first place votes to stay atop the poll.  No. 2 UW-Whitewater garnered the last two first place votes.  Mary Hardin-Baylor was third.

After the Wolverines at five, St. John's (Minn.) held at No. 6.  Washington & Jefferson moved up one spot to seventh after Cortland State was upset by Kean and fell to 19th.  Linfield made one of the biggest jumps this week, climbing five spots to No. 8.  Case Western eased up a notch to ninth and Central entered the top 10.

Wesley returns to Dover, Delaware for its annual Homecoming game on October 3 and will host Frostburg State at 1:00 PM.
