Wesley Tops South Region Rankings
INDIANAPOLIS - The Wesley College football team is the top ranked team in the South Region in the initial NCAA Division III Regional Rankings released October 28.
The NCAA ranked the top 10 teams in each the North, South, East and West regions. In addition to the Wolverines ranking No. 1 in the South, Albright is No. 1 in the East, Mount Union tops the North and Linfield is ranked first in the West.
In the South Region, No. 2 Mississippi College, No. 3 Washington & Jefferson and fourth-ranked Hampden-Sydney follow Wesley in the rankings. Mary Hardin-Baylor rounds out the top five.
Thomas More, Centre, Huntingdon (Ala.), Dickinson and DePauw complete the rankings, respectively.
Wesley hosts Salisbury in the Route 13 Rivalry on October 31 at 1:00 PM.
