Neeman, Vincent, Kisner Named All-CAC

ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. - Wesley College's Taryn Neeman and Danielle Vincent were named to the All-Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) first team, announced by the league office.  Teammate Ashley Kisner joins them on the all-conference squad, earning a spot on the second team.

Neeman, a junior forward from Felton, Delaware, led Wesley and placed third in the conference with 13 goals scored.  Her 28 points also led Wesley and ranked fourth in the CAC.  It is her second consecutive all-conference honor.  Neeman was named to the All-Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) first team in 2006, before Wesley moved to the CAC this season.  For her career, she has 18 goals and 10 assists for 46 career points, just outside the school's top ten in points.

A senior, Vincent earns her third straight all-conference first team honor after being named All-PAC in both 2005 and 2006.  In 2007, the Camden, Delaware native ranked in the top 10 in the CAC in goals, assists and points.  Her eight goals  placed 10th, she was fourth with six assists and tied for eighth with 22 points.  A 2006 all-region selection, the midfielder has 33 career goals and eight assists for 74 points.  Vincent rates fourth all-time at Wesley in goals and fifth in points.

Kisner, a defender from Duncannon, Pennsylvania, was one of only three freshmen selected to the All-CAC team.  She posted one goal and one assist for the Wolverines during her rookie campaign and played in all 17 games.

Wesley finished the 2007 season with a record of 12-5.  Its 4-2 record in CAC action placed third and the Wolverines advanced as far as the conference semifinals before falling in overtime.
