Tadlock Named CAC Player of the Week
YORK, Pa. - Wesley College sophomore forward Brooke Tadlock was named the Capital Athletic Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week after a stellar performance in a pair of road matches during a 2-1 week for the Wolverines.
The Middletown, Delaware native scored three goals to lead the Wolverines to their first CAC win of 2008 in a 6-0 win over Hood on Saturday. Tadlock followed it up with the game-winner in the 62nd minute of a 3-2 non-conference victory at Randolph-Macon.
With the efforts, Tadlock moved into 10th place on Wesley's career scoring list with 48 points and eighth on the career goals list with 22.
It was the second time in 2008 Tadlock was honored by the conference. She was named the co-player of the week on September 8.
Wesley, 7-5 overall and 1-3 in the CAC, hosts Stevenson in a conference match on Tuesday, October 7 at 7:00 PM.
