Wesley Shuts Out Hood

DOVER, Del. - Wesley College held Hood without a shot in a 3-0 shutout win in Capital Athletic Conference field hockey action.
Jessica Franklin (Columbia, Md./Long Reach) scored the only goal of the first half for the game-winner at 17:44.
Wesley (9-1, 3-0 CAC) added two more goals in the second half to put the game away. Brooke Tadlock (Middletown, Del./Middletown) scored in the 44th minute and Kerri Bratty (Elmer, N.J./Woodstown) iced the game with just 35 seconds to play.
Hood (3-6, 0-4 CAC) received a strong effort from goalkeeper Anne Marie Hantman, who made 31 saves.
The Wolverines travel to Gwynedd-Mercy on Sunday, October 4 for a non-conference match up.
