Osberg Named CAC Golfer of the Week

YORK, Pa. - Wesley College junior Chris Osberg was named the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Golfer of the Week after finishing in the top 10 of the Division I Rehoboth Beach Invitational, hosted by George Washington.

Osberg tied for tenth with rounds of 77 and 75 to finish with a 152.  He led the Wolverines to a sixth place finish against nine Division I programs in a 10 team field.

The Amherst, Virginia native won the CAC Championship last spring and was named the conference's Golfer of the Year.  He also won a Golfer of the Week award last season after tying the school record with a 66 at the Bent Creek Spring Invitational.

Wesley is idle until October 6 when the Wolverines head the Bent Creek Fall Invitational in Lititz, Pennsylvania.
