Wesley Tied for 16th in National Poll
DOVER, Del. - The Wesley College golf team is tied for 16th in the latest Golf World/Nike Division III Coaches Top 25.
Both Wesley and Mary Hardin-Baylor tallied 139 points in the rankings.
The top five in the poll remained unchanged. St. John's (Minn.) remained No. 1 with 11 of the 18 first place votes. Second-ranked Methodist garnered five first place votes and finished just six points behind St. John's. Redlands with one first place vote, Oglethorpe and Huntingdon (Ala.) rounded out the top five.
No. 8 Ohio Wesleyan received the final first place vote.
The Wolverines are back in action on October 6, when they travel to the Bent Creek Fall Invitational.
