Osberg Honored by CAC

YORK, Pa. - Wesley College senior Chris Osberg (Amherst, Va./Amherst) was named the Capital Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Week after his stellar performance at the Rehoboth Invitational.

Osberg posted a 36-hole total of 145 (71-74) to tie for fourth individually and lead the Wolverines to third place in the Rehoboth Beach Invitational, which primarily consists of NCAA Div. I teams and is hosted by the University of Pennsylvania.  Osberg's score is the second-best 36-hole total in CAC history, and the team's 595 two-day score is a new conference record.

He shared the award with Matt Lukehart of Stevenson.

Osberg and his Wesley teammates will look to continue their strong play with a trip to the Ted Keller Invitational, hosted by Randolph-Macon on October 3-4 in Glen Allen, Virginia.
