Johnson Shares CAC Player of the Week

YORK, Pa. - Wesley College guard Rashawn Johnson was named the Capital Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Week after a 35 point outburst in the season opener against North Carolina Wesleyan.

Johnson (Selbyville, Del./Sussex Tech) hit 14-of-28 field goals, two three pointers and picked up three steals as the Wolverines topped 100 points but came up short in a 114-102 loss to the Battlin' Bishops.

The Wesley team captain shares the award with Marymount's Mike Gray, who posted a double-double with team-highs of 16 points and 10 rebounds.

The Wolverines will look to rebound with a trip to the Buzz Ridl Classic at Westminster College on November 21 and 22.  Wesley will take on Carnegie-Mellon on the first day, before playing the hosts on Saturday.
