Wesley Fourth in Middle Atlantic Region

INDIANAPOLIS - The Wesley College men's basketball team is ranked fourth in the NCAA Division III Middle Atlantic Region for the second straight week.

The rankings were based on team records through February 8, at which time the Wolverines were 15-6 overall, including a very impressive 13-2 mark against regional foes.

Franklin & Marshall remained No. 1 in the rankings with a 19-2 overall mark with an 18-2 marke against regional competition.  DeSales (17-3, 16-3) slid up one spot to No. 2.  One of Wesley's Capital Athletic Conference rivals, St. Mary's (Md.) (18-4, 15-2) leapfrogged the Wolverines and are ranked third, a two spot improvement.

Wesley remained fourth, followed by McDaniel (16-5, 14-4) to round out the top five.  Gwynedd-Mercy (15-5, 14-4) dropped from second to sixth.  Widener (16-5, 14-5) and Gettysburg (14-6, 14-6) rounded out the eight team ranking.

The Wolverines, currenty 15-7 overall, host York (Pa.) on Saturday, February 14 at 4:00 PM.
