Wolverines Add Two More
DOVER, Del. - Wesley College men's basketball head coach Jerry Kobasa has announced that both Paul Reynolds and Quayshun Morris will continue their academic and athletic careers with the Wolverines.
Reynolds is a local product from Smyrna High School in Smyrna, Delaware. A 6-4, 245-lb. guard/forward, he was named the Gatorade Player of the Year in Delaware as a senior, when he averaged 22 points, 12 rebounds and five assists. He finished his career with over 1,500 career points and was named first team all-conference and first team all-state twice each.
Morris graduated from Salem High School in New Jersey, where he was the team MVP, all-conference, All-South Jersey and a candidate for the South Jersey Player of the Year Award. He led Salem to consecutive playoff appearances, including a Group I Championship and a runner up finish in the state playoffs. The 6-3, 185-lb. guard tallied career highs of 30 points, 15 rebounds, four steals, seven blocks and 10 assists.
The duo add to a recruiting class that already included the NJCAA Division III scoring champion, Manny Valentin of Atlantic Cape Community College.
The trio will contribute to a team that won its first Capital Athletic Conference Championship in 2008-09 and advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
