Martin Makes ABA Roster

CHARLOTTE - Former Wesley College standout Evan Martin (Wilmington, Del./Laurinburg Institute {N.C.}) has made the opening day roster for the Charlotte Crossovers of the ABA.

The Crossovers are a new expansion team in the ABA this season and will compete in the league's Southeast Division when the season begins on December 4.

Martin finished his career by helping Wesley to its first Capital Athletic Conference men's basketball championship and the program's first NCAA bid.  He finished his college career with over 1,000 points and ranks among Wesley's all-time leaders in points, assists, steals and three point field goals.

He is one of two players from the Wolverines' championship team to sign with a professional team.  Rashawn Johnson signed with the Birmingham Gladiators of Americas Basketball International.
