John Davis is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Wesley College women's basketball team after assisting with the men's team for the previous six seasons.

With the Wolverine men's team, Coach Davis primarily worked with the backcourt players and the offense, while also assisting with the everyday operations of the men’s basketball program.

Prior to coming to Wesley, Coach Davis was the head varsity boy’s basketball coach at The King’s Academy in Marion, Indiana in 2001-2002, leading the team to an 11-11 record. John has worked basketball camps at Kutztown University and the Michigan Basketball School at the University of Michigan.

Coach Davis played on the 16-8 men’s basketball team at Wesley College in 1997-1998, before transferring to Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. At Indiana Wesleyan, Coach Davis received his bachelor’s of science degree in sports management and was a varsity letter-winner with the baseball team for three years. He finished his master’s of business administration at Wesley College in July of 2005 and was the sports information director at Wesley College for just over three years.

Coach Davis is a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), and was a member of CoSIDA, and served on the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Marketing and the CoSIDA Publications committees.

John is from Dover, Delaware and is currently employed at GB...At Your Service! in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware as the Operations Executive. Coach Davis is a graduate of Caesar Rodney High School.
