Men's Lacrosse falls to Gwynedd Mercy, earns sixth seed in Atlantic East Tournament

GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – The Wesley College men's lacrosse team fell to the Gwynedd Mercy Griffins, 17-1 on the road on Wednesday.

Kyle Mackall-Lloyd scored Wesley's lone goal of the game in the second quarter off an assist from Derek Hallock.

Hallock tallied two caused turnovers and two ground balls. Zach Farnell and Joshua Short each caused a turnover. Dylan Sicca notched 13 saves in net for Wesley.

Even with the loss, Wesley (3-11, 1-5 Atlantic East) clinched the sixth seed in the upcoming Atlantic East Conference Championship Tournament. Wesley takes on the third-seeded Marymount Saints in Arlington, Va. on Saturday, April 27. The game is set for 1 p.m.
