Keith (K.R.) Schultz is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Wolverines’ men’s lacrosse team. Schultz comes to the Dover campus after serving as the varsity lacrosse head coach at Walkersville High School in Frederick County, Md.
Schultz played collegiately as McDaniel College from 2006-10 where he served as a team captain and member of the student-athlete advisory committee. A goaltender for the Green Terror, Schultz appeared between the pipes in nine games where he tallied 16 saves and six ground balls while accumulating a 62 percent save percentage.
A native of Walkersville, Md., Schultz also served as the head
coach for the RoughRiders U-13 and U-15 teams while working for
Corrigan Sports Enterprises, Inc. (CSE). Schultz has also
worked camps with Quint Kessenich, Navy, Towson University, and
Gettysburg College and staffed the 2011 Free State Team, the 2011
Baltimore Team at the Under Armour All-American Underclassman Games
and the 2011 Baltimore Team at the Adidas National Lacrosse
Classic.
Schultz graduated with Honors from Walkersville High School where
he played four seasons of lacrosse and football.
