Lambert, McCann Score Twice in Wesley Win

ASTON, Pa. - Justin Lambert and Brian McCann each scored twice as Wesley outlasted Neumann 5-3 in a non-conference road match.  Peter Hulem also ran his goal scoring streak to three.

Neumann (7-6-4) got on the board first when Wesley (7-10) was charged with an own goal in the eighth minute.  Wesley ran off the next three goals to take a 3-1 lead in the second half.

Hulem tied the game at 13:55 with an assist from Jaime Shure off a corner and the teams went into the half tied at 1-1.  Just after play resumed, Lambert gave the Wolverines the lead at 46:59 with a score off a rebound.  Wesley went up 3-1 when Dom Citino set up McCann's first score of the afternoon at 62:03.

The Knights fought back with a pair of goals by Jesse Urquhart to tie things at 3-3 at 77:14.

Lambert scored the game-winner on header off a free kick by Hulem at 86:05.  McCann converted a penalty kick with just 25 seconds left in the match to give Wesley some breathing room.

Nick Talarico made two saves for Wesley.  Brett Fenimore had six for Neumann.

Wesley outshot the Knights 14-10 and held a 5-1 advantage on corner kicks.

The Wolverines are back in action on Saturday with a Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Quarterfinal match against St. Mary's (Md.) at Wolverine Stadium.  Kick off is set for 6:00 PM.
