ECAC Tabs De Los Santos

CAPE COD, Mass. - Wesley College freshman Omar De Los Santos was named the ECAC South Player of the Week after his performance in a 2-1 win over St. Mary's (Md.) in the CAC Quarterfinals.

De Los Santos (Prescott Valley, Ariz./Prescott Valley) sent a cross to Kyle Lawrence, who headed the ball into the back of the net in the second minute of the second half to even the match, then took a long crossing pass, stopped the ball and cranked a shot from left to right to advance the Wolverines in the conference playoffs.

It was the second award of the week for De Los Santos, who was also named the CAC Player of the Week.

Wesley will now advance to the CAC Semifinals where the team will travel to undefeated York (Pa.), ranked No. 2 in Division III.
