Wolverines Shut Out Neumann

DOVER, Del. - Sophomore Omar De Los Santos (Prescott Valley, Ariz./Prescott Valley) found the back of the net twice in the second half to lead Wesley College to a 2-0 win over Neumann in non-conference men's soccer action.

After neither team scored in the opening 55 minutes, De Los Santos scored two goals in less than three minutes to lead Wesley to the win.

At 55:07, De Los Santos was in the right place at the right time, cleaning up a loose ball for the game-winner.  Just 2:36 later, the Wolverines (3-3) got out on a breakaway and Saidu Fofanah (Yeardon, Pa./Pennwood) crossed the ball to De Los Santos for another Wesley goal.

Nick Talarico (Little Egg Harbor, N.J./Pinelands) made five saves to pick up the shutout in net.

Zac Ratliff stopped three shots in the loss for the Knights (1-3).

Wesley opens Capital Athletic Conference play on Saturday, September 19 with a road match at St. Mary's (Md.) at 2:00 PM.
