DOVER, Del. - Five different Wolverines contributed one goal each to the win over Hood College in Capital Athletic Conference men's soccer action.

Within the first six minutes of play, the first goal for Wesley was scored by Omega Dabale (Jos, Nigeria) from an assist by freshman Frank Buffa (Phoenixville, Pa./Owen J. Roberts).  Less then ten minutes later Kyle Long (Delaware, Ohio/Buckeye) scored the Wolverine's second goal with an assist from Thomas Yolain (Windsor Mill, Md./Randallstown).

The Wesley defense was solid only allowing nine shots during the game.  Nick Talarico (Little Egg Harbor, N.J./Pinelands) made one save for the Wolverines.

"It's been a tough stretch, only being at home for a pair of games so far," Wesley Head Coach Steve Clark noted.  "We'll look to build on this success.  We've had a few injuries and it's nice to pull out a win when you're not at full strength."

The Wolverines host Eastern Mennonite on Wednesday, October 7th for a non-conference match up.  It will be just Wesley's third home game of the season after playing nine of the team's first 11 games away from Scott D. Miller Stadium.
