Late goals propel Marymount over men’s soccer

DOVER, Del. – The Wesley College men's soccer team fell to the Marymount Saints 2-1 in a Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) match on Wednesday.

Chimaobi Ikwuagwu would score the opening goal for Wesley in the 20th minute when he would meet the cross from Darius-David Robinson and head the ball in near post past the Marymount keeper to take the early one-goal lead.

The Wesley defense held tough until Marymount rallied in the waning moments of the game with two goals from Sebastian Hendi two and a half minutes apart to overtake Wesley.

The Wolverines will travel to Buena Vista, Va. to take on the Southern Virginia Knights in a CAC matchup. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
