Wesley Falls to St. Mary's
DOVER, Del. - Wesley College's Christopher Maximo (Dover, Del./Dover) picked up one win in each singles and doubles, but St. Mary's (Md.) won the remaining seven matches for a 7-2 win in Capital Athletic Conference action.
Maximo was a three-set winner at second singles, winning 3-6, 6-1, 6-2 for his first collegiate singles victory.
Earlier in the day, he teamed with Mickey DeSouza (Beverly, N.J./Palmyra) at first singles for a 9-7 win.
The Wolverines will look to get into the win column on Sunday, April 5 when Gwynned-Mercy visits the duPont Tennis Courts at noon.
