Wesley Competes at Richard Stockton
POMONA, N.J. - Wesley College competed at the Richard Stockton Invitational in the first Division III outdoor meet in school history.
Larry Beavers had an excellent performance. The junior won the 110 hurdles (15.88), finished second in the 200m (22.80), and third in the 100m (11.26). He also ran the anchor leg on the winning 4x100m relay (42.56). Also running on the 4x100 team were Michael Clarke, Sean Randall and Alpha Koroma.
Dakevis Howard finished fourth in the long jump at 21-8 1/4. He also took sixth in the triple jump with a mark of 43-2 1/2.
Hodges Horton took fifth in the high jump, clearing 5-7.
No team scores were tallied.
Wesley is back in action on Saturday, March 29, when the Wolverines travel crosstown to the Hornet Invitational at Delaware State University.
