CAC Names Beavers Athlete of the Week

YORK, Pa. - Wesley College's Larry Beavers was named the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Men's Track & Field Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 13 after a stellar effort at the Rowan Open.

Beavers became the first Wesley student-athletes to win the award in program history as the Wolverines compete in their inaugural varsity season as Division III track & field.

Beavers posted a gold-medal effort in the 100-meter dash (10.88) and anchored the victorious 4x100-meter relay team (43.38) at the Rowan Open. Beavers' time in the 100 was the fastest by a Wesley runner in its first season.

The track & field team will travel to York College of Pennsylvania for the CAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday, April 19.
