Robertson Sets 400-Meter Record

POMONA, N.J. - Wesley College's Matthew Robertson (Tabernacle, N.J./Seneca) shattered the school record in the 400-meter dash by nearly a second as the Wolverines competed in the Osprey Open at Richard Stockton.

Robertson's time of 50.85 was nearly 1.5 seconds faster than his previous season best and nearly one second faster than the old school record of 51.71. 

Larry Beavers (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) won the 110-meter hurdles in 16.00.  He was also second in the 200-meters (22.54) and third in the 100 (11.41). 

Wesley's 4x100 relay team was the team's 42.95 fastest of the season and good for third place.

The Wolverines are back in action on April 10 at the Rowan Open.
