GLASSBORO, N.J. - Wesley College's Larry Beavers (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) set a new school record in the 100-meter dash with a winning time of 10.85 as the Wolverines competed at the unscored Rowan Open.

His time blew away the field by .16 in the event.  Beavers broke his own school record of 10.88, set last year at Delaware State's Hornet Invitational.

The senior nearly had a second record with a 21.92 in the 200, which he also won.  Beavers missed his own Wesley record in that event by just .04.

Beavers also added a fifth place finish in the 100-meter hurdles in 16.15.

The Wolverines also got a victory from Roger Morales (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom) in the high jump.  Morales cleared 6-2 for the win, just an inch short of the Wesley record.  The freshman long jumped 19-10.25 to place fifth.

Zach Johnson (Marydel, Md./North Caroline) captured fifth place in the shot put with a personal best of 34-9.5

The meet was Wesley's final tune up before the Capital Athletic Conference Championships at Mary Washington on April 18.
