Wesley Pack Takes 12th at Cabrini
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Just 1:30 elapsed between Wesley's top five finishers, propelling the Wolverines to a 12th place finish at the Cabrini Invitational.
Teddy Bobola ran a 29:43 to finish 55th and lead Wesley, just as he has done in every race this season. It was the second fastest time run by a Wolverine this season.
Colin Campo came just 19 seconds shy of breaking 30 minutes, placing 65th in 30:18. Miguel Batiz and John Clarke finished less than a second apart. Batiz ran a 31:48.26 to finish 76th, one place ahead of Clarke, who ran a 31:48.53.
Jeff Nickles rounded out Wesley's scorers at the 8K event, finishing 83rd in 32:13. There were 155 total runners in the 19-team race.
The Wolverines placed ahead of four Division II squads at the meet.
Wesley runs again at the Hood Invitational on October 20.
