Wolverines 11th at Don Cathcart

RESULTS

SALISBURY, Md. - The Wesley College men's cross country team finished 11th at the Don Cathcart Invitational at Salisbury University.

Senior John Clarke (Middletown, Del./Mater Dei) led the Wolverines on the 8,000-meter course with a time of 33:06.  Teammate Doug Mullen was one place back with a 33:34.  Terry Harens-Walgreen posted a 37:35 as the third Wolverine across the finish line.  Jorge Granados (Rockville, Md./Wheaton) posted a 38:32 and Kamran Karinov (Clifton, N.J./Clifton) finished in 42:06 to complete Wesley's top five.

A pair of Division II teams, East Stroudsburg and Wilmington finished first and second, respectively.  The hosts from Salisbury were the top Division III team, taking third.

East Stroudsburg had three of the top four finishers, led by individual champion Frank Fezza in 25:34.

Wesley is back in action on October 3 at Goldey-Beacom.
