Wesley Closes 2010 Season
SALISBURY, Md. - The Wesley College men's cross country team ended its season with a ninth place finish at the Capital Athletic Conference Championships.
Freshman Michael Liegey (Huntington, N.Y./Walt Whitman) paced the Wolverines for the sixth straight race, placing 77th in 31:49. Sophomore Terry Harens-Walgreen (Shadyside, Md./Southern) finished his 8,000 meters one minute and 20 seconds later in 82nd.
Ronald Trappier, Mike Mango (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro) and Joseph Perez (Bronx, N.Y./Academy of Enviromental Sciences) rounded out the Wesley contingent.
The hosts from Salisbury had the top four finishers in the race to pick up a near sweep and win the conference title.
