Wolverines Take Two From Abington

DOVER, Del. - The Wesley College softball team swept a doubleheader from Penn State Abington.

In game one, Kim Fearnbach (Pennington, N.J./Hopewell Valley Central) scored three times and Megan Street (Bridgeville, Del./Epworth Christian) drove in three runs as Wesley won 5-3.  Michele Mules (York, Pa./Susquehannock) added a triple in the contest.

Street tossed a complete game and scattered seven hits.

Fearnbach and Brittany Steele (Dagsboro, Del./Indian River) had two hits apiece in the second game to lead Wesley to a 7-4 win over the Nittany Lions.

McKenzie Davis (Hebron, Md./Mardela) stroked a two-run to highlight a three-run first inning by the Wolverines.  Wesley scored three more in the fourth with Lyndsey Ellsworth (Georgetown, Del./Sussex Tech) doubling home two runs in the inning.
