Street Named CAC Player of the Week

YORK, Pa. - Wesley College's Megan Street (Bridgeville, Del./Epworth Christian) was named the Capital Athletic Conference Player of the Week after her performance in six games for the Wolverines last week. 

During the week, Street hit .444, hurling a pair of critical victories as the Wolverines won their way into the 2009 CAC playoffs. She tossed her second shutout of the season in a win against Stevenson and added a pitching win Friday at Gallaudet that helped clinch a post-season nod. Offensively, her biggest performance was against Widener, where Street doubled and homered.
