Wolverines Announce Two Recruits

DOVER, Del. - Wesley College Head Coach Gerry Szabo has announced a pair of additions to the Wolverines' softball program for 2010-11.

Heidi Hurd is a utility player from Bridgeville, Delaware who played her senior year at Woodbridge High School.  Heidi played her freshman thru junior years at Milford High School.  As a senior for Tina Knotts at Woodbridge, she hit .400 as a catcher.  In addition to softball, she also was a member of the basketball and cheer teams in high school.  

Tamerra Starr is a catcher from Cape Henlopen High School.  She has four years of junior ROTC and was a three-year member of the AVID honors program.

Both players play travel softball for the Delaware Wildcats.
