DOVER, Del. - Wesley College's women's basketball team concluded its season with a 97-47 loss to No. 7 Mary Washington on Saturday afternoon at Wentworth Gymnasium. The Wolverines finish the year at 6-19 overall and 3-13 in the CAC while the Eagles remain a perfect 25-0, 16-0 CAC.
Jazmine Miller led Wesley with 19 points on 7-of-16 shooting and 4-of-9 from behind-the-arc. Rachelle Allen also pitched in with ten points while Katie Kirk finished with eight.
The Wolverines were outshot, 52.4% to 30.8% and the Eagles were led by Jenna McCrae who scored 21 points. Katie Wimmer and Claire Brooks both scored 17 points for UMW as Brooks went 3-of-3 from the floor and 11-of-11 from the line.
