Brooke Bennett Tabbed All-CAC

YORK, Pa. - Wesley College's Brooke Bennett was named to the All-Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Second Team in voting conducted by the CAC coaches.

Bennett, a sophomore defender, led the CAC and ranks fifth in the NCAA in caused turnovers at 2.92 per game.  She also ranks fifth in the conference in ground balls (3.00) and ranks in the top 100 in Division III.

A Cape Henlopen product from Milton, Delaware, Bennett also chipped in on the offensive end with 12 goals scored.

It was the second all-conference honor for the sophomore.  As a freshman, Bennett was named first team All-Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) when the Wolverines were a member of that conference.

Wesley finished the 2008 season with a 5-11 record overall and a 1-6 record in the school's first year in the CAC.
