Brehm nets five goals against Neumann

ASTON, Pa. – The Wesley College women's lacrosse team dropped a high-scoring 22-12 decision to Neumann Knights in Atlantic East Conference play.

Paige Brehm netted a team-high five goals. She added six ground balls, six caused turnovers, an assist and a draw control.

Kaila Hindt tallied four goals, four draw controls, two ground balls and an assist. Brianna Bacon registered two goals and two draw controls. Kassie Dieter and Kathleen Martin each dished out a pair of assists while Dieter caused two turnovers and scored Wesley's opening goal of the game.

Emily Caldarelli and Brittany Bishop chipped in with a caused turnover and a ground ball on defense. Maria Rowland notched 10 saves in net for Wesley.

Brittany Cassidy had seven goals to lead Neumann.

Wesley will battle with the Gwynedd Mercy Griffins on Wednesday, April 24 to wrap up the 2019 regular season. The conference game from Drass Field is set to begin at 5:30 p.m.
