Wesley Drops CAC Finale

ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. - A goal in the 84th minute broke a scoreless tie and sent Wesley home with a loss in a Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) match at St. Mary's (Md.).

Wesley (10-7-1, 3-4-1 CAC) was outshot in the game 18-1, but the defense kept St. Mary's (6-9-1, 4-3-1) off the scoreboard until 83:15, when Taylor Colonna scored the game's only goal.

Brittany Block made eight saves in net for the Wolverines.

Wesley finishes its regular season with a non-conference match against Penn-State Abington on Thursday, October 25 at 7:00 PM.
