Wolverines Lose in Semifinals

SALISBURY, Md. - Salisbury scored four goals in the game's first 35 minutes to take a 4-0 decision from Wesley College in the Capital Athletic Conference semifinals. 

Sara Schmidt and Robyn Bishop had two goals apiece for the Sea Gulls. 

Wesley controlled play in the early going until Schmidt put Salisbury (14-2-1) on top 1-0 at 20:12.  She and Bishop traded goals over the next 15 minutes.

Wesley (12-8-1) held the Sea Gulls off the scoreboard in the second half, but the damage had already been done.   

Brittany Block made 10 saves for the Wolverines.

Salisbury will face York (Pa.) who defeated Mary Washington 3-0 in the other semifinal.
