Wolverines Announce Team Captains

Dover, Del. - Wesley College Head Coach Ed Muntz announced that Gina Orrben (Hockessin, DE/A.I. Dupont) and Georgia Haubrich (Haddonfield, NJ/Haddonfield) have been named team captains for the 2008 season.

Georgia Haubrich is coming off another quality season, where she has anchored the Wolverine defense for the last three seasons. Georgia is a three-year starter that graduates next year with a degree in Sports Management.  Gina Orrben will lead the Wolverine attack, which finished 13th nationally in scoring offense (3.67 goals per game).  Gina currently sits 10th in all-time scoring at Wesley with 14 goals, seven assists, 35 points and will graduate with a degree in Nursing.

"Both Gina and Georgia are quality student-athletes that represent the strong traditions of our program.  I'm so proud of both of them and look forward to watching them lead our team next season,"  said Coach Muntz.

The Wolverines open up their 2008 campaign, hosting the Wolverine Soccer Classic on August 29-30.
